 Payne’s Nurseries and Greenhouses of Santa Fe, New Mexico is a full-service retail nursery that operates two retail locations and a bulk organic soil yard in Santa Fe.  Some of our specialties include:
• Native trees and shrubs. We also offer the largest selection of fruit trees in Northern New Mexico and stock more large shade trees than any New Mexico retail nursery. And we back up our offerings with expertise: on a per capita basis, Payne’s employs more New Mexico Certified Nursery Professionals than any other nursery in the state. 25 percent of all the arborists certified in New Mexico by the International Society of Arboraculturists are employees of Payne’s.
• Hardy perennials, annuals, herbs and bedding plants in season, most of them grown by us from plugs or seed, including old-fashioned "cottage garden" varieties unavailable from the Big Box stores.
 • Long-blooming hanging baskets and "color pots" for sun and shade, both preplanted and (if you give us advance notice) custom-designed to fit your tastes and décor.
• Vegetable starts in season, including one of the widest variety of "heirloom" and open-pollinated tomatoes in New Mexico, all selected for their ability to ripen delicious fruit in our unique mountain climate. Heirloom chile plants, too!
 • Beautiful tropicals and houseplants suited to every home and office situation.
• Soil amendments and fertilizers selected for Northern New Mexico soil conditions, including a wide variety of organics, such as Yum-Yum Mix, Fox Farm/Happy Frog, and Michael Melendrez's Soil Secrets products. We also sell compost bins and compost inoculants.
• A complete range of seed-starting and container growing supplies, including legume inoculants.
 • A wide variety of pest management products, both conventional and organic, including Safer's™ and live ladybugs in season.
