Dahlia
Each spring Payne’s happily grows unattractive brown tubers that become these spectacular flowers. They are popular for adding bright, eye-catching color to flower beds and container plantings.
They are available in almost every imaginable color and will bloom all summer if they are fed and deadheaded regularly. They need rich, well-drained soil and regular watering.
To re-plant next spring, dig up the tubers in the fall and store them dry in a paper bag filled with vermiculite. Or, if that sounds like too much work, just come back to Payne’s where we will again have these beauties ready and waiting to plant.
